About Bo
Hi, I’m Rebecca, aka Bo, and I’m so glad you found us!
I fell in love with the “simple life” of farming and our pioneer heritage back in elementary school when my teacher read us the Little House series by Laura Ingalls Wilder. Pair that with the TV series from the ’80s and I was sold! My favorite chore was gathering eggs for my elderly neighbors each week. I was sure that made me a kindred spirit to Laura.
On weekends, I’d hop onto the bench seat of my grandfather’s truck and head to the farm to hay the cows. My love for cast iron and campfire cooking began when my son joined scouts, he loved it, so momma loved it. That passion grew, and eventually I married into a chuckwagon family, completing my transformation into a “real” pioneer.
I’m wife to Jake, mom to two amazing humans, blessed with a wonderful daughter-in-love, and a precious grandbaby. Life is so good!
For 26 years I’ve been a bedside nurse, and for the last 18 years, I’ve served in adult ICU. I’m thankful to my Savior and Creator for all of it. He loves me despite me.

Meet the girls!
Lady, Poppy, Birch and Maple are our four registered American dairy goats. They are Nubian queens here on the farm and supply not only the milk for our soap (and baked goods) but are bred once a year. This allows for their beautiful genetics to be passed on to babies who then go on to show. We love our girls.
Guard dogs with a big heart!
Meet Buck and Maggie our amazing livestock guardian dogs. They do an amazing job protecting the herd. Buck is just a big ‘ol teddy bear and all the goats lay around him. Maggie runs interference all day making sure no birds fly over the pasture lol. Together they make a great protective team.
